The walk
Mill Green Walk
This lovely walk starts from the Mill Green common car park and takes you on a woodland wander through a number of different ancient woods, each full of different tree species and a vast array of wildlife.
There is an optional detour that takes you to a lovely pub if you want to make this a Pub Walk day out. There are also some mild ascents on this walk that will help you to build up a healthy appetite.

A very enjoyable woodland walk. Saw two heard of deer and two pheasants! Very peaceful. Three stiles towards the end, dogs able to go underneath them.

Very flat road/ pathways so ideal for pushchairs or wheelchairs mostly. Mostly woods so not much scenery but enjoyable all the same. The two pubs are a lovley stop.

This walk is a beautiful woodland walk. If tou have dogs beware of all the deer and squirrels and anything else they can chase!! The road you cross are quiet, but make sure your dogs have good recall. Paths are very clear, autumn may be problematic, but the app is perfect so just follow the yellow line. Parking is free at the start and lots of it. Fab walk

What a great walk. It was very dry for an early April so no muddy boots. Great walk if you have a dog. ...Had lunch at the Cricketers at the end of the walk. Perfect and pet friendly. Water and dog treats provided.

Great walk , mainly through the woods . Lots of squirrels and also spotted some deer . Muddy in places, but would be more so if going after rain. Didn't go in either pub, so not able to comment on them. Will definitely do again , maybe in the spring as a change in season would make it like a new walk .

It was very enjoyable. Only in the last wood did I lose my way. I might have been tired, I'm 74. Also there was a fallen tree across the path, I managed!
