Surrounded by peaceful countryside, this walk from Epping Green follows a scenic mix of well-known trails including the Forest Way, Three Forests Way and Stort Valley Way.

The walk
Epping Green Walk
This is a nice walk through some pretty and peaceful Essex countryside.
The route will take you along the Forest Way, the Three Forests Way, the Stort Valley Way and through the Nazeing Golf Course. (So please be aware of flying golf balls!)

Lovely walk. Only problem was the pub doesnt accept dogs, even in the garden. If we went again we would take provisions and find somewhere to stop and eat.

Good, hilly walk. Spoilt only by the path that goes alongside Copy Wood. Now totally overgrown with brambles. It did look as though you can walk clockwise around the wood so would suggest you try this first.

A true country walk very pretty and literally on my door step will definitely do it again.

Due to walking in June the sometimes narrow paths where completely overgrown, die to a dry spell the ground was hard but would imagine would get very muddy and churned up in places due to bridal ways. Enjoy it

Lovely walk, one part was overgrown but passable 2 bridges had planks missing but didnt create a big problem, our dog enjoyed all of it.

Some small stretches of overgrown brambles. Secateurs would have been good. Also at least 3 of the footbridges were poorly maintained with missing slats.

Lovely walk....If bringing sogs they will need to be on a lead for some of it for sure as horses in fields you are walking in and some roads to cross....
