Once we were in the gardens it was a little difficult to keep track of the route as there are so many different paths to follow. We stopped following the route and just explored. It was lovely for our 5 and 2 year olds, loads to explore. It was wet so some of the steep hills were quite slippery.

Beautiful water ways.
Very enjoyable walk, a few styles where there wasnt a gate alternative so maybe not suitable for buggies or wheelchair users. Only one field at the moment has livestock but a possibility for a few more as they rotate the cattle around fields. Slighty overgrown in summer but still very passable. Very welcoming pub at the end and the carpark at the start is free.
Lovely riverside walk with great countryside views. No hills at all with well maintained paths/tracks. Dogs will need to be kept on leads for parts as there are livestock in the fields.
Love this walk and have no issues at all with the directions that some have had. If not in lockdown downton have a few pubs and cafe’s. one local got funny when we said we had come from salisbury... she made a narky comment about our cars blocking up the village and using local peoples on road parking spaced until I explained we parked at the Moot. She then said sorry x
Part of the route to get back to the Moot was marked as "private" so we had to make a slight detour. Other than that the route was easy to follow and this was a nice walk with some lovely river views along the way.
One area at the start is unclear (Wiltshire Walks Note: could you please email us on wiltshire@localwalks.co.uk to help explain the issue and we will try and solve it? Thanks!). Lovely route overall with beautiful views. We had an off-road buggy which was great, but it didn't fit through most of the kissing gates and had to be lifted over styles. So wouldn't recommend with a buggy. The dog had a great time though. Would do again with baby carrier.
Another fantastic walk! Kids really enjoyed it too and plenty of places for a paddle too! Will definitely be doing this one again.
Nice varied walk. Lots of butterflies at the bridge.
