Extremely muddy and slippy in places. Some spots almost impassable due to ice on some shaded spots. Would be a great walk in summer not ideal for mid- January. Pub in Pitton is excellen and dog friendly.

Really lovely walk kids loved it very varied and interesting. Beautiful views would recommend it. Took a bit longer than 1.5 hours. Would love to do this walk again! One of our faves so far.

Nice clear paths and route. The pub in Pitton was unfortunately shut on Monday and Tuesday. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the views.

This is our longest route and it's another circular route between Farley and Pitton that stretches further out into the surrounding countryside for a more rewarding outing.

Broad fields, quiet hedgerows and plenty of fresh air give the walk a classic rural feel, with wide views across this peaceful corner of the landscape. Longer sections of woodland then add variety, bringing cooler, shaded paths between the open stretches.

It’s a satisfying long walk with a good mix of scenery, ideal for those looking to stretch their legs a bit more between these two quiet villages.

Very enjoyable and scenic route with only a couple of short climbs. Hardly any stiles and a few gates. Two pubs en route with slight detours but a shop passed on way.

An enjoyable walk but very wet and muddy (in most places) including a 6 inch deep stream running across a field near the end of the walk! GPS dropped out a couple of times at vital junctions but will do again in the summer.

My dog and I thouroughly enjoyed this varied walk, through woods ( my favourite) countryside and a small amount of road walking. We didnt stop at the pub as I had intended, but we did stop several times to endulge in snacks. There was one steep hill near the end, which luckily has steps. i’d hoped the dog would have pulled me up, but we were both tired so struggled up alone!

Quite an easy route along well trodden paths. Lots of attractive woodland. One short part with some steep steps. Good for dogs with enough off lead walking available. Good pub in Pitton.
