What a beautiful trail my pups loved it. Sadly the river has long dried up but it meant my pup had more space to run.Will definitely return and walk some of the other paths i saw

Really good walk. Much of the walk was muddy and a bit slippery in places.

This was a lovely walk which came in at 4.8 miles for me. There is a lovely spot for a picnic at the redeveloped lock in the SW corner of the route. If you do the route in a clockwise direction it takes anout 45 mins to get there.The route was perfect although I did deviate just after the lock where the route suggested I crossed a bridge and through a somewhat overgrown field - I didnt fancy that, so stayed on the main path without a problem. I would recommend doing the same !
