Ditchling Common

Ditchling Common Country Park is in East Sussex and it’s a lovely area to walk, have a picnic and enjoy nature. It has a wonderful network of woodland paths, open grassland and wildlife, it’s a great place to explore, especially to see the bluebells in Spring. We have 2 Ditchling Common walks on the Sussex Walks app of 1 mile and 3.5 miles.

The first walk is a lovely short family-friendly stroll around the Ditchling Common Country Park. The walk is short, but it is varied with some open parkland, a lake and some woodland walking to enjoy.

The second route is an extended version of the Ditchling Common Country Park walk. It still enjoys the parkland, lake and woodland of the park, but then takes you north for a longer walk through the pretty woodland of Bushywood Common and West Wood.
