Sutton Park is a National Nature Reserve and Site of Special Scientific Interest on the edge of Sutton Coldfield, covering roughly 2,400 acres. It is also a Scheduled Ancient Monument, and the landscape has been shaped by thousands of years of human activity, which gives the park an unusual mix of history, archaeology and wildlife.

The four circular routes here start near Miller & Carter and share the same gentle, rolling ground, with a high point of around 150 metres. The shortest takes in Wyndley Pool and several woods close to the start. The longer options reach the Jamboree Stone, Lord Donegal's Ride, Keepers Pool, Bracebridge Pool, Blackroot Pool and The Forty Bridges, and the longest adds Longmoor Pool and Westwood Coppice.

Along the way you cross the line of the Roman road, Icknield Street, and pass the Sutton Park Line railway. There are plenty of places for refreshments, including the visitor centre area with Costa and Browns, Blackroot Bistro, Sip & Slice and The Bracebridge, so these walks suit a relaxed morning or afternoon whatever distance you choose.
