Watchet Walks & Route Maps

This is a lovely short stroll around the harbour town of Watchet.

Theres a little detour to the clifftop overlooking Helwell Bay and a couple of detours out onto the Eastern and Western piers around the harbour.

You'll also find lots of eateries for refreshments in the town itself as you walk.

This second route is an extended version of the first route that also enjoys the clifftop, the harbour, piers and eateries in the town of Watchet.

The extra walking is a relaxing loop of walking that takes you along the old railway line track alongside the Washford River and then back though countryside, visiting a church on the way.

This final route option is a lovely long 'there and back' coastal walk from Watchet to St Audries Bay. Once you return from this adventure, you can then stroll around the harbour town of Watchet itself for it's harbour, piers and eateries.

Please note, the first section of the coastal walk to St Audries Bay is along the beach in Helwell Bay. This is uneven underfoot as you'd expect so might not be suitable for all walkers. Also, please pay attention to tide times as always when walking on beaches.
