Bedgebury Forest Walks & Route Maps

This short walk offers a gentle introduction to Bedgebury Forest, winding through the remarkable National Pinetum. Here, one of the world’s finest collections of conifers creates a striking mix of towering redwoods, rare species, and seasonal colour.

The route keeps things easy-going, with broad paths and peaceful woodland views that change character throughout the year. After exploring the trees, the trail leads naturally to the Bedgebury Café - a relaxed spot to pause and take in the forest atmosphere before heading off again. A compact route, but full of character.

This much longer walk enjoys the Pinetum as in the first route, but this option then further explores the breadth of the majestic Bedgebury Forest, where conifers and broadleaf trees stretch across the High Weald landscape.

A pause at the Bedgebury Café offers a welcome break before the route continues into the celebrated National Pinetum.
