While our longer walks from this location are more exciting and varied, this is still a nice option as a short open countryside stroll with some nice views as you walk down the hill towards the small village of Langley.

The second route is similar to the first in that it's a simple open countryside stroll. However, this route offers a bit more distance to stretch those legs and also includes a nice section of walking through the western edge of the Knebworth woods.

Things get a lot more interesting on this third route option, if you have that extra time that you need.
This route has some extra countryside walking to make up the extra distance, it takes you on a stroll through the pretty Graffidge Wood, and then towards the end the walk it takes you on a public path through the gorgeous grounds of Knebworth House.
If you're lucky, you'll catch a glimpse of the resident Red and Sika Deer within Knebworth Park. Please respect these beautiful animals and also stick to the public footpaths on your walk through the park.

Gorgeous walk, really well signposted and there was a massive herd of Deer so that was a huge bonus.
Great family walk with our dog. We did walk 3.
We LOVE this walk! Its so varied the whole way. The parkland and Graffidge Wood are the highlights but the quiet fields and lanes are also pretty and peaceful.

This fourth route option is basically an extended version of the third route.
It still enjoys the Graffidge Wood and the stroll through the Knebworth House grounds, but this option also has the walk up through Knebworth woods that we feature in the second route.

My first walk using this app. The scenery was grand, we saw plenty of deer and livestock. The route map was perfect.
Did this in middle of wet February. Mud was not too bad at all and lovely countryside, tracks and saw loads of deer at Knebworth. Will def do again!
Such a great walk. The most beautiful woods full of old trees and birdsong, lovely undulating views, some meadows with wildflowers and a cup of tea at Knebworth barns.

This final route option is the choice for those of you that really want an epic and energetic adventure in this lovely area of countryside to the west of Stevenage.
It enjoys everything from all of the other routes, including both woods, the lovely countryside views and the pretty grounds of Knebworth Park, but this route also takes you on a big climb up the Kitching Track before descending back down to the route enjoying views along the way.

Lovely walk. Was a big muddy in places but not nearly as bad as expected after such a wet few weeks. Would be lovely to do it again when the bluebells are out.

Really lovely walk. Varied woods and fields. Some on lead places. Knebworth paths would be good for buggys.
Enjoyable walk, but lots of exposed areas so wrap up if its cold and windy! Some sheep and horses in the way so the dogs were on their leads, plus one section of road and we had to cross a fast road twice, so be careful with dogs off lead. There was no pub on the route so take a flask! There were 2 prehistoric burial mounds in Graffidge Wood if that interests you.
You do walk through Knebworth House grounds and need to keep dogs on lead for that part of walk - but you do pass the Knebworth Barns where you can grab a coffee in their cafe and use the toilets if you go when the park is open!
