This varied circular route explores the countryside around the pretty Wiltshire village of Box, mixing open fields, historic landmarks and a touch of woodland along the way.
First the walk heads out into the surrounding farmland before passing the handsome Hazelbury Manor, a fine old house with centuries of history.
Later, the route brushes past the impressive Box Tunnel, one of Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s great engineering feats, before a short stretch through trees adds a change of scenery.
Finally, the path returns to the characterful streets of Box, rounding off this pleasant, well-rounded countryside outing.
