Sedlescombe Walks & Route Maps

This first walk option walk explores the quiet wooded countryside to the north of Sedlescombe, offering a peaceful wander through gently undulating countryside typical of the High Weald.

Killigan Wood brings a sense of depth and history to the landscape, with its mix of mature trees and long-standing role in traditional woodland management.

A village pub at the end of the walk provides a natural finishing point, adding a relaxed and sociable touch to this small, characterful route.

This second walk option offers a gentle alternative route that explores the pretty undulating countryside to the east of Sedlescombe.

After a walk through the village itself, the River Brede then brings a calm, steady presence as it winds through the low-lying fields, and then a loop around Brassets Wood reflects the area’s long tradition of managed woodland.

As with the first route, a lovely village pub waits for you when you get back to the start of the walk.
