Walk information
This is a very short stroll around the Ashtead Common which is a simple area of woodland that has been a National Nature Reserve since 1995. As well as strolling through the woods, the walk also takes you to the pretty Stew Ponds where you can enjoy some time by the water.
There are bridleways on the route, so it can get very muddy in places in the winter.

This second route is basically a much longer walk around the Ashtead Common woodland.
There's not much more to see apart from more of the same peaceful woodlands, but it obviously gives more exercise, more time exploring, and it also has the added bonus of a nice pub on the route.
As with the first walk, the route can get very muddy at times when wet so wellies are definitely advised in the winter or after significant rain.
