The route links into the King Charles III England Coast Path, following the natural line of the estuary. It’s a simple stretch, although the return from the coast includes some steeper climbs that add a bit of effort.

The route rises and falls, with some steeper climbs adding a bit of challenge and the higher ground around Castle Hill brings expansive views across the estuary.
