Walk information
This is a simple short walk along the well-kept grassy esplanade at Frinton-on-Sea.
The walk then takes you on a short optional detour up the main street if you want some ice cream or a pub for refreshments, and then it takes you back down to the seafront where you can stroll back along the beach.

First-hand experiences
Wonderful sleepy town on the beach. Might be busier at weekends but on a monday we had it almost to ourselves. Two sets of public toilets on route. The route marked went down steps at one point but there was alternative access slopes for wheels. We loved it!
Walk information
This second route is the option for you if you have a bit more time and want a more varied walk from Frinton-On-Sea.
It enjoys more of the esplanade than the first walk and also takes you along the beach, but this route also heads out into some open countryside, through a golf course and much further along the main shopping street in Frinton-on-Sea where you will find pubs and eateries.
There are some mild ascents on this walk and of course look out for golf balls on that section of the walk.

Walk information
This final route is basically the same as route 2, but gives you a much longer stroll along the lovely peaceful esplanade and a much longer walk back along the lovely beach.
There is a steep descent on the walk as you go from the Esplanade to the Beach and as with the second route, be careful for flying balls on the short section through the golf course.

Good walk if you enjoy a varied landscape. Golfers mostly friendly, just one group...not responding to our Good morning even after we’d waited for them to take their shots. Nice walk through residential area and High St, followed by a good blow along the front then back along the beach. Enjoyed fish and chip lunch back in Frinton.
Beautiful beach and nice route.
Loved this varied walk. Fields, golf course (mind the balls!) esplanade, got to view some very posh houses in the back streets of Frinton and then beach. Perfect!
