Set on the beautiful Somerset coast, these walks from the charming village of Bossington offer a wonderful mix of beach, bay and cliffside scenery.

Wandering through natural gorse and along the edge of Bossington Beach, you’ll enjoy sweeping views across the coastline, with the option to climb up towards Hurlstone Point for particularly stunning panoramas over the bay. The gorse bursts into beautiful colour at certain times of year, adding even more charm to these coastal routes, though do take care near the sea and along the cliff edges.

With a small tea room conveniently located near the car park and in the village, these walks are a perfect way to combine fresh sea air, gentle adventure and a well-earned refreshment at the end.

An easy coastal walk taking you around the natural gorse and next to Bossington beach. There are some picturesque hills surrounding the bay walk creating some scenic views by the beach.

The gorse can flower into beautiful colours if you walk at the right time of the year. There is a small tea room next to the car park for refreshments.

Please take care around the sea area if you decide to go onto the beach, and be aware that there are some sections over pebbles which might not be suitable for some walkers.

A lovely coastal walk starting in the small village of Bossington and taking you past the local beach up to Hurlstone point where there are some beautiful views overlooking the coastline and Bossington Beach.

There are a few climbs on this walk that will require some extra energy, and then the majority of the walk is around the cliffside.

There is also a small tea room in the village for refreshments which we have provided directions to.
