This is a short, but lovely, walk around the much-loved chalk hills of Wittenham Clumps.
There is a bit of climbing involved of course, but it's worth it for the lovely views.

First-hand experiences
The path through the wooded part on Castle Hill is closed for public safety and looks like it has been for sometime, so the route cannot be followed as drawn. It needs to detour around the edge of the wooded area

This longer route still enjoys the climb to the summit of the Wittenham Clumps, but it also extends further to visit the Little Wittenham Woods as well as the Days Lock on the River Thames.

First-hand experiences
As with Walk 1, the wooded area on Castle Hill is closed so the route needs to detour round the hill. I’d have extended the far point of the walk just along to Days Lock itself. Car park gets very busy
