The 200 acre park is a haven for wonderful wildlife and you'll enjoy open parkland walking as well as a stroll around the lake.

Very enjoyable walk. Lovey to see lots of dogs having fun.
Parking is now free at the start, App says paid parking. So a nice bonus.
Gentle stroll in countryside. Pretty dandelions. Lots of dogs.

This second route is an extended version of the Country Park walk and this version added extra milage to the walk by visiting the far end of the park and roaming through some of the parks lovely woodland.

Loved it. Close to town but so peaceful.
Great route but only took jusT over an hour instead of two :)
Good for dog walkers, but a bit plain in terms of things to see.
Walk information
This longest route option again explores the woodland, parkland and lake of the Cherry Orchard Park with it's abundance of wildlife.
However, this longer route also takes you outside of the park and along the Roach Valley Way to enjoy more woodland, more pretty countryside and there's even a little detour to visit a lovely pub if you want to make this a pub walk day out.
There is a mild climb during this walk.

Lovely walk. Parking is once again FREE. Some paths overgrown. Quite a lot of mud. Pub was pleasant.
Lovely walk but you need to update your app. The parling is no longer free.
