Bewl Water Reservoir Walk

Start coordinates: 51.079546,0.391088

Bewsborough Water (also known as Bewl Water) is a large reservoir created in the 1970s to provide a reliable source of drinking water for the southeast of England. Today, it's also a thriving hub of leisure and recreation and our walk allows you to enjoy the very best of this beautiful location from open meadows to woodlands. Spring is a great time to enjoy the walk as the bluebells, wood anemones and wild garlic are abundant and there is plenty of native wildlife. Some sections of our walk can be challenging although most of it is easy going. There is an onsite cafe and restaurant for refreshments and there is a fee for parking.

Bewl Water is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and to enjoy a day out walking in the great outdoors.
