This first route option is a lovely short walk in the pretty Hornchurch Country Park.
You'll walk through the park itself and take a short detour to visit the lovely lake.
The walk is completely on solid paths, making it perfect for wheelchairs and buggies.

If you have more time and are happy to venture off the totally solid paths, then this route is a longer adventure that fully explores the pretty Hornchurch Country Park.
You'll enjoy the woodland sections and two different lakes on this route, as well as climbing to the top of Ingrebourne Hill and strolling through the new Memorial Woodland.
If you want to arrive by Train to avoid the ULEZ charge, there's a 1.3km walk along Sutton's Lane from Hornchurch Underground Station to get to the start point. There's also a short detour to a Greene King pub for refreshments if you want.

This final route option is for those of you that really want to stretch your legs and explore this area with a long walk.
As with the second route, it fully explores the lovely Hornchurch Country Park with it's cafe, two lakes, woodland, hill viewpoint and memorial woods.
However, before all that, you'll go for a stroll alongside the River Ingrebourne and then on a loop of walking through the Berwick Glades and Woods, making this a long and varied adventure!
